026. Go a month at work without taking a sick day (February 2009)
I would like to give this a try during the month of February. I have been in my current role as Trainee since July, and have, at times, found it difficult to settle into the "9 to 5, 5 days a week" routine, and so have taken sick days because I have been sick or needed a "mental health day". This month I would like to be able to say I slogged through without any time off, and I'm more than certain I can do that, unless of course I get really ill, but being the Summer months I don't think that's going to happen.
085. Go a month without buying a coffee from the Bean Bar near work (February 2009)
This task pains me and scares me just a little bit. I'm completely obsessed with the Bean Bar and their delicious coffees, but it's putting added strain on my pitiful Trainee wage and keeping me way, way too caffinated at work. With the weather having been so hot over the last week I figure now is the best time to attempt this because a strong, hot coffee is the last thing I'm looking for in the morning when the temperature is already 36C before 9am.

018, 077 and 081
018. Use all organic and herbal hair/skin care products
I'm not there just yet, but I have completely replaced all hair care and skin care (face) with herbal/organic products. All I need to do now is to replace body lotions and soaps and I will be able to mark this achievement off my list. I'm using Jurlique porducts for my face, which I love, but are very expensive to purchase, but I have noticed that you really don't need to use a lot which means they last a long time.
077. Read all the books I own I haven't read yet (2/83)
To this list I can now add, Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad.
081. Watch all the DVD's I own before buying new DVD's (2/64)
Due to the unbearable hot weather my sister and I watched two DVD's on Australia Day: Notes on a Scandal and The Good German. What better way to spend Australia Day... Cate Blanchett Fest!

027 & 059
027. Start to learn to speak Spanish
While browsing through the newspapar this morning I discovered the tafeSA Short Course Guide 09. I had a look through it hoping ti find a short course I might take for work, something OHS&W related, but instead noticed the Language section.
I will go over to the Adelaide Campus (lucky for me it's about a 5 minute walk from my work) to enquire a little about the course, and hopefully next pay day I will enrol in the course.
059. Buy fresh Fruit and Vegetables (and other yummy things) from the Central Markets (1/46)
Technically, I could say I've finished this task as I didn't specify how often I should do this, but I'll amend it to buying from the Central Markets once a fortnight (on a pay week).
Yesterday (Friday 16, January) I bought some lovely organic cherries, gorgeous Sundowner Apples, and some beer (which is neither a fruit or a vegetable) from the Central Markets on my lunch break.
